Emelia is a writer obtaining her MFA in Creative Nonfiction. With prose that are lyrical and poetic she delves into Albuquerque subculture, touching on topics such as substance and domestic abuse. She writes about girlhood and all its bruises. Currently publish in Leonardo literary magazine with her poem "Pinecone" and nonfiction short story "Quills", as well as Leonardo Long Form with a publication for her fiction story "Moon".
