E. A. Banks is a writer and library volunteer based in N Coastal CA, where the fog and redwood shadows often seep into her lyrical prose. An MFA graduate and former teacher, she now spends her time tutoring adult literacy and crafting speculative fiction. When not stripping em dashes from manuscripts, she can be found on photo walks capturing local wildlife or adding to a curated collection of very important sticks. She lives in a busy (loud) house full of kids, dogs, and cats.
