Emily Carpenter

Emily Carpenter is an MFA student pursuing a poetry degree, participating in a fully funded graduate professional assistant program at George Mason University. Her work focuses on the oftentimes tumultuous relationship between humankind and the natural world, and she strives to encapsulate the beauty of all things raw, disturbing, and even mundane.
