Yumna was born and raised in Najma, Qatar, and her family is originally from Wad Madani, Sudan. She's currently based in DFW, Texas, where she works across community organizing, writing, design, and photography. Her practice is grounded in creative storytelling and visual communication as tools of empowerment, fueling people, movements, and communities with care.
