Eileen Maxson is an interdisciplinary artist and educator with an emerging writing practice. Across media, she uses humor and pathos to reflect on grief, inheritance, consumer culture, and the climate crisis. Her work has been exhibited at the Wexner Center for the Arts (Columbus, OH), Queens Museum (Queens, NY), and Museum of the Moving Image (Queens, NY). Maxson holds a BFA from the University of Houston and an MFA from Carnegie Mellon University.
