Formerly a nomadic van-dweller, she now shares life with her partner on 5 wooded acres in Oregon. She is currently writing a memoir about the life changes that came about while hiking 4,000 miles on long distance trails. Time spent hiking, skiing, backpacking, writing, and sewing make her happy. An ER nurse by trade, she has always looked to nature to refill her soul when life gets draining. Sharing outdoor experiences with her grandkids fills her with hope for the future.
