David Barclay is a Scottish writer working across comics, criticism, and narrative nonfiction. Coming from outside the traditional creative industries, his work often explores folklore, place, and identity through a contemporary lens. He is currently developing SAORSA, an indie graphic novel project, while contributing reviews and features focused on comics and storytelling.
