Daniel Weiss is a writer, ceramic artist, and archaeologist from River Forest, Illinois. His poetry can be found in Shadowplay, The Ekphrastic Review, and Wayfarer Magazine. He graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in anthropology in 2024, and has since worked as an archaeologist. He has sold his work at local art fairs. He may have earned money, and it is entirely possible that the items sold were art; this remains a larger discussion for the wider arts community.
