Casey Shapack is a writer living in North Carolina. Her story “Holding His Hand” won The Letter Review Prize for Short Fiction in 2025. Her work has also recently been published in Feminine Collective. Her semi-monthly Substack newsletter explores balancing a creative life with motherhood. She has a BA in Literature from UC Santa Cruz and a Copyediting Certificate from UC San Diego’s Extension Program.
