Lola May Coker

Lola is originally Kurdish. Her family fled the region when she was eight months old. She was raised in Poland and Algeria and educated in French before moving to England at seventeen. She has taken part in the Faber Academy’s six-month course How to Write a Novel and the year-long Gold Dust Mentorship and is currently studying for an MLitt in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow.
