Christopher Diaz is an indigenous CHamoru from Guåhan. He’s been featured by NBC News, Poets & Writers.org, and more. He’s received fellowships & support from Indigenous Nations Poets, Kundiman, McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House), Washington State Arts Commission, and the Sitka Center for Art & Ecology. He was recently shortlisted for the ONLY POEMS 2026 Poet of the Year Award. He's a two-time grand slam champion and won the 2023 Bigfoot Regional Slam with his PNW team.
