Christie is an Appalachian native who has known she wanted to be a writer since the 3rd grade. Her love of storytelling eventually led her to study Musical Theatre at James Madison University, and later, informed her work in fundraising for several nationally recognized non-profits. She and her husband relocated from the NYC metro area to Roanoke, VA in 2019 and have one beautiful daughter. She earned an MBA from Radford University in 2024 and is currently writing her debut romance novel.
