Chitungue Machai is a Mozambican writer in his early 20s, trying his hardest to push for the unconventional in his environment or society. He's trying his hardest to make a living out of what he loves, and escape societal concessions and expectations about what he should do, and what should he be or become. In his words: "Blame J. D.
