Sarah Mortazavi-Brooks is an Iranian American writer and academic. Her work has been featured in Waxing & Waning, a literary journal based in Nashville. Originally from the coast of Virginia, she has previously resided in Seoul and now calls Wellington her home. She is currently a literature PhD candidate; her dissertation centers Toni Morrison, healing, and ancestral connection.
