Chana Lawrence graduated NYU in May 2025 with a BA in Humanities/Creative Writing, as the oldest (and proudest!) member of the NYU 2025 graduating class. Born and raised in Manhattan, she fell in love with writing when her 8th grade teacher read her essay out loud in class. When she’s not writing or paying the rent as a technical writer, she plays the piano and watches videos of her two year old grandson on a loop.
