Brittany Drehobl hails from Chicagoland, is a children's librarian emeritus, a fairly new mother, and lifelong companion to her dog and husband. She holds a degree in Creative Writing, a master’s of Library and Information Science from UIUC, mainly writes YA fiction and motherhood memoir while dabbling in songwriting. Her work has been featured in Honeyguide, ThreadLit, and WBEZ (Chicago's NPR source). She is currently working on a contemporary YA novel and speculative feminist short story.
