Breeze loves reading and writing strange, lyrical speculative fiction. Some of their favorite authors include Le Guin, Indra Das, and Oktavia E. Butler. In 2024, they attended Faber Writing Academy's Writing the Speculative Novel and in 2025 they were accepted into the Australian Society of Author's Writers and Illustrators Mentorship Program. Their work has appeared in Five on the Fifth and their story First of May was a semifinalist in the 2025 June Quarterly Writer's of the Future contest.
