Jenna Bly

Jenna Bly is a trans, queer midwife and writer living in Toronto. Jenna’s debut novel, Slackdrop has been acquired by Red Hen Press for publication in 2028. A short story adaptation of the novel, also titled Slackdrop won first prize for fiction in The Plentitudes in 2024 and Jenna joined the editorial board in 2025. Their short fiction, Close All Your Eyes was published in The Ex-Puritan in 2025. Jenna is a founding co-lead of the MATCH (Midwifery and Toronto Community Health) Program.
