Belle Waring is a late-in-life author who has lived half her life in Singapore after studying Classics, Ancient Philosophy and Indo-European Linguistics at Columbia and Berkeley. She has published some flash fiction and short stories in SLANT, Infinity Wanderers, Stone of madness Press, and Plenitudes. In her home of SC's Low Country people say she was "always the one telling the stories." Acquiring this reputation required oblique references to hoodoo, and tales of bad mistakes in rowboats.
