Ava Baird is a student at Slippery Rock University, majoring in Communications and Journalism. She is also a student writer for the University's Marketing and Communications department. She has been published in Kidsburgh and was the winner of SLB Radio's 2026 Recording the News contest. When she's not writing, Ava enjoys reading, going to local bookstores, and cuddling with her cats, Scooby and Fred.
