Lourdes Apresa

Lourdes Apresa is a Mexican writer and teen librarian. She has a MLIS from the University of South Carolina with a focus on Youth Services, and has served as committee member for ALSC’s Scholarships & Professional Recognition and the Pura Belpré Award for Latinx authors. When not writing, she is attempting art in whatever form is available, going to a yoga class, or spending time with her husband and their dog, a “mini”bernedoodle named Sunny.
