L.L. Keyes is a speculative fiction writer whose work explores the intersections of identity, memory, and personhood within dystopian or post-systemic worlds. Her stories follow characters—organic or artificial—as they awaken within oppressive systems and fight to reclaim autonomy. Influenced most by Chiang and Tepper, with Le Guin and Butler close behind, she's the indie author of the Immortal Rising series: two novels, a novella, and a third in progress. She lives in Vancouver, WA.
