Aswin Vijayan's debut chapbook Under the Handstand Statue Man was published by Yavanika Press in 2022. In the same year, he received the TOTO Funds the Arts Creative Writing Award. He has previously served as the Managing Editor of The Quarantine Train, as the curator of the New in Poetry section of Nether Quarterly, and as the Associate Poetry Editor at The Bombay Literary Magazine. He is also an alumnus of the MA in Poetry at the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry at Queen's University, Belfast.
