Aryeh Cohen

Aryeh Cohen is Professor of Rabbinic Literature at the American Jewish University. He is also the Vice-President of the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission. He has written two books, the latest of which is "Justice in the City: An Argument From the Sources of Rabbinic Judaism." Cohen has published nonfiction in Kerem, Tikkun, the Los Angeles Times, the LA Progressive, Religions Dispatch, the Daily Beast, and elsewhere. His poetry has appeared in Cobra Milk, Ilanot Review, Kerem, and Tikkun.
