Candice Margarita is a queer Nuyorican/Boricua artist, performer, writer, and spoken word poet. Her poetry is created by her mental health struggles, her innate need to tell stories and her yearning for community, for a better society and a better world. She’s currently working on her first poetry and prose book, “The Antidote,” coming Spring 2026, with the goal of her poetic work to heal others as it has been doing for her.
