Sarah Elena Smart Vargas received her BA in creative writing and English from Southern New Hampshire University. She currently works with ESL students in a small town outside San Antonio, Texas. Her short story “Pump #3” was published in Macabre Magazine. She lives with her fiancé and her dog Boris.
