Anna has a B.A. in Audiovisual Studies, centering on screenwriting, and an M.A. in Cultural Journalism. She grew up in Southern Germany, lived in Bucharest, Romania, for her studies and jumped between Kuala Lumpur and Berlin for six years; hence, her writing is rich in audiovisual perceptions and often focuses on themes such as belonging, found family, grief, memory, and trauma. She has self-published a poetry collection and a novella. Her feature film script "Crustaceus" is looking for funding.
