Anna Purves is a writer and poet. “What Happened in the Future” poem appeared in Tendrils Journal ‘Trauma and The Environment’ issue. “Origins” poem appeared in Artemis Journal 50th anniversary issue, 2026. She has received awards from Bronx Council on the Arts for both poetry and fiction; Long time writing professor writing in the Honors programs at Lehman College/CUNY. She is the creator of Dead Poets Rise,™ a poetry writing board game.
