Anna Kovatcheva

Anna was born in Bulgaria and raised in Virginia. Her debut novel, She Made Herself a Monster (Mariner 2026), was completed at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Stephanie Delman at Trellis Literary Management represents her work. Anna holds an MFA from NYU. She previously published a chapbook, The White Swallow, with Gold Line Press, and her short fiction has been anthologized in Best American Nonrequired Reading and has appeared in The Kenyon Review and The Iowa Review.
