Andy Mead is a retired primary headteacher. He has been writing seriously for 32 years.Started off writing for children but now writes principally for adults and young adults.Raised in Jamaica from the ages of 6 to 18 he still retains strong links with friends from school and had a book of short stories published by MH publishing in the early 90's. Many of his stories are set in Jamaica and he has had several published in collections and online. Makes good use of Jamaican patois.
