Amber is an Irish-Pakistani writer and scientist who lives in Norwich, England where she is enrolled on the University of East Anglia Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) MA. She writes short fiction and poetry concerned with identity and the natural world. She has a PhD in Crop Genetics and has published in scientific journals including Nature and Molecular Plant. Her poem The Visitor was published in Consilience. She writes on Substack @ambersflorilegium.
