Allison Kacmar Richards values her family, nature, calm, music, and words. She plays bass, alongside her husband, in the instrumental post-psychedelic band, The Long Hunt. They released their fourth album, Natural Order, in July 2025. She is currently working on a series of short stories inspired by the animals she grew up with, and a poem is forthcoming in L I M I N A L . S P A C E S.
