Alison

Alison (she/her) is a chronically ill, queer writer and graduate student of social work at San Francisco State University. Raised on the Bay Area Peninsula, she writes about transformation, embodiment, and memory attached to place. Her poetry first appeared in Byzantium, the annual literary journal of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She tends a community garden plot, reads on the beach, and is fascinated by the mythos in the mundane.
