Alison Henderson

I have lived in a lot of buildings I didn't pick. Boarding school. Jail. Now a sober living house in Los Angeles, by order of the court. In between, I crossed Canada thirty times, slept in my car, saw most of the world, and dropped out of university. Seven times. I'm Queer, disabled, and in recovery. I'm at work on my first collection. I think poetry is truth under pressure. I would know.
