Born in Chicago, Alison started saving to move west at age 8. She didn't always consciously know she'd be a writer, but the number of stories she recently found in her childhood bedroom say otherwise. Several of Alison's short stories & poems have been published, she's written & produced 3 plays, and is currently working on her second book while producing a short film. A graduate of The Second City, her tone walks a fine line between nostalgically sentimental and whimsically droll.
