Ann Gauger has been a scientist, a musician, and an author.. She has a bachelors degree from MIT, a PhD from the University of Washington, and a post doctoral fellowship from Harvard. Besides editing two books and many scientific articles and book chapters, her poetry has been published in The Unexpected Journal, and on her own Substack, along with essays and short, short stories. She has begun work on a memoir describing her remarkable life, tragic sometimes and yet full of joy.
