Astrid Munn's writing is rooted in journalism and law, with her stories drawing on her upbringing on the Great Plains as the daughter of a Guatemalan immigrant and a white MBA. Having grown up in community theater and then participating in improvisational comedy as an adult, dialogue is what drives her tales of intercultural conflict and the ironies inherent to well-meaning liberalism. When she is not practicing law, teaching law, or writing, Astrid likes to watch Shabbat on Zoom with her cats.
