Misses no strike

Takes no hike.

Is where I used to be 
People mocked and smacked

A glint relights

A swerve, a dip, 
Then a jolt of your hip.

I twirl you,

We paint our path 
Mark every mile.


The Art of Dance

His kisses reek of nonsense
and his eyes shimmer 
with a foul hue.
She’s held between the collision of his arms
and struck atop the rock that is his heart.

Hate Isn't The Right Word

As she swings she hears them sing. 
The echoes of a million stars serenading.
So far away, yet always close 
Over her head and under her nose. 
Off she hops and ahead she goes,
tugging lightly at her clothes.
