Ivy Alphonse-Crean

Ivy Alphonse-Crean is an educator from the greater Boston area. Ivy’s work can be found in the anthology Teaching Beautiful Brilliant Black Girls and the upcoming anthology Uncovering Possible: Pedagogies for Apocalyptic Times. Shorter articles and personal essays can be found in Independent School Magazine and WBUR's Cognoscenti. In addition to her growing writing portfolio, Ivy is also a 500 hour certified yoga teacher and SEL Facilitator. She is an MFA candidate at Lasell University.
