
Jordan (she/they) is a queer returned-from-exile anti zionist Jewish disabled autistic artist/educator/dog parent who often loves too big for this world. Who often coughs trying to explain themselves without labels and rarely has the spoons to do so without.  Sometimes their love finds its way onto the page instead of being the latest project to wreck their kitchen. Art is her compass.  They are constantly relearning to navigate their body’s landscape and the relationship they have with the world. Full of chosen family, contradiction, diaspora and demanding ancestors, never far from intergenerational trauma or bizarre special interests, it’s always messy, complicate, and spectacular.  She is in process of writing two  forthcoming chapbooks on the mythology of chronic illness/mindbody, and on reclaiming her Judaism from Zionism and breaking intergenerational cycles of trauma. Most days you’ll find her scribbling poems down between arguing with her opinionated pitbull, Lega, and being supervised by her other goofy canine who wants to be both a service dog and a pitbull. Dance, writing, and the redwoods make this disabled autistic queer feel alive.
