Burdens and Barriers tells the story of difference. Discrimination, hatred, and bigotry are one of the biggest barriers to success in a modern society. People are treated differently every day for things they can’t control by both the people and the law. When a person or government hurts or targets a group, how do they keep going? In a world where discrimination is everywhere and bigotry and hatred run rampant, how are you unapologetically yourself? This is what we want to explore in this issue, demonstrating the burdens and barriers you face for being yourself.
