<div>Issue 01 Prompt: What happens when you combine dread, vulgarity and internal disarmament with being addictively fun, stylish and iconic? </div><div><br></div><div>We find ourselves attracted to matters that exist on the fringes of polite society, each in our own way. Materials and actions that strike fancy quietly within us; whether in the media we consume or the conversations and inner percolation we find ourselves tuning into. What all these substances have in common is their ability to break up the monotony of our reality. </div><div><br></div><div>What do we get when we allow ourselves to exist and bring to light this intermediary zone between couthe and uncouthe? Explorations in which we find joy and excitement despite all of our external circumstance stating otherwise.</div><div><br></div><div>In Watchine Magazine's first issue, the newspaper craves to bridge these matters of judging and feeling into some third other thing that can simply be labeled as: pleasure principles.</div>
