The Write Launch is about writing and, by extension, our common humanity. This is our vision. 

To delve into the Imagination as manifested in the written word and to inspire writers to seek the Creativity that lives within. To bring forth our vision of the Humanities Decade.

The Write Launch has been an idea for some time, originally conceived as the Featured Writers section on bookscover2cover. 

Then, bookscover2cover published book reviews and original writing, but with the passage of time we determined that the featured writers needed their own site.

The Write Launch

Submit 1 unpublished creative nonfiction, maximum 3,500 words. Please format your submission double-spaced and include word count.

Creative Nonfiction

Submit 1 unpublished short fiction, 7500-15,000 words. Please format your submission double-spaced and include word count. Submissions that exceed maximum word count will not be considered for publication.

Long Short Story

Submit up to three previously unpublished poems in a single document. 
Each poem should have a title.
Please list the title of each poem in your submission.

Poetry

Submit 1 to 3 pieces of previously unpublished work of visual art, in the mediums of drawing, painting, or photography and include a brief description of each submitted piece.  We want to know what inspired the art, or what story it may have to tell.  

Submit your work as individual high-resolution JPG or PNG files. 

Submit 1 unpublished short story per issue, 1500 - 7500 words. Please format your submission double-spaced and include word count.
