We strive to celebrate our contributors’ work. To that end, we submit each issue of THR for consideration in Best American Poetry, Best American Essays, and Best American Short Stories. Subject to eligibility, we also nominate for Best Small Fictions, Best New Poets, the O. Henry Prize for Short Fiction, the PEN/Robert J. Dau Prize for Emerging Writers, Best Literary Translations, the Nina Riggs Poetry Award, and the Pushcart Prize. We nominate work first published as a web feature for Best of the Net as well.
