The Hoolet's Nook

The Hoolet’s Nook is an online journal that celebrates short poetry and microfiction. We publish three times a year—in September, January, and May—and welcome work from both emerging and seasoned writers. Open to various genres, we’re especially drawn to pieces that hum beneath the surface—imagistic, subtle in voice, and emotionally resonant. We love work that makes us pause, invites introspection, and leaves us feeling something real.
