Steller's Weekly is the literary journal of Mountain Jay Books--a Colorado-based publishing and bookbinding company with the stated mission of elevating literature. Our goal with Steller's Weekly is simple: build the writing resumes of emerging authors. In it, we publish exclusively the short stories of ambitious, unpublished writers—those daring enough to put ink to vision and send their words into the open air. Like our namesake, the Mountain Jay, this journal exists to seek, gather, and elevate what might otherwise go unseen: sharp prose, fearless storytelling, and the quiet brilliance of emerging talent. At the end of each year, twelve stories will have the opportunity to be published in our annual paperback anthology. If you are a writer with a short story of 5,000 words or less that you want to share with the world, submit today! (Note: to qualify you must have no previous fictional prose publishing credits. Self-publishing on personal websites is acceptable.)
