A youth-led organisation with a vision to provide a platform for other intellectualists to share thoughts and theories of their interest.

Sol Undetermined is rooted in the belief that anything and everything shapes the human condition. This project seeks to create an interdisciplinary space where the stars meet politics, and classical antiquity speaks to modern injustice.

Everyone is welcome: those who carry stories across borders, those who live and love differently, and those dreamers with dirt under their fingernails.

Come as you are, and look up.

We are only accepting submissions from creatives aged between 13 and 21.

Blog Submissions

Everyone is welcome to submit, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, ability, and socioeconomic status.

Submit to our debut issue, NORTH STAR!

What does it feel like to gaze upon the sky and know that following the right star will lead you to true north? To almost feel its starlight consuming you (burning, perhaps, like desire, or slipping through your warm fingers)? There are secrets hidden within the stars, a confession, or a glowing tv that you feel like you have to hide. Let yourself sit in that space and look for it: North. Home, where you are most grounded. Has true north found you, or are you still walking to it through a meandering road?

Show us how you have been left looking for north in a stormy sea at night; the way your hands burn with comfort at a fire; the cold, quiet true north (Are they yours? Are you theirs?) you’ve been looking for all your life; how you live through the dark; the way that someone before you was naming the star above that now awaits your return.

Lead us to the archive of your late-night pondering of fate, where we can look out the window and see semblances of starlight.
