Rinnan Literary is a magazine which has a randomised reading process - to ensure that all pieces get equal time in their light. We want work you love - but is struggling to get out there.

Rinnan Literary is a literary magazine that embraces randomness in its selection process, aiming to provide equal opportunity for all submissions. The name 'Rinnan' is derived from the Old English word meaning 'to run' or 'flow,' reflecting the magazine's dynamic and fluid approach to literature. Founded with the belief that the literary industry is highly subjective, Rinnan Literary seeks to level the playing field by accepting a diverse range of works, including unconventional pieces like late-night thoughts, napkin scribbles, and poems written in jest. The magazine employs a unique method where submissions are grouped and then subjected to a series of randomized tests—such as coin flips, number selections by virtual assistants, and even dart throws—to determine publication. This approach underscores their commitment to impartiality and inclusivity in the literary world.
