We’re Reelhouse, the UK’s student film and TV magazine. We publish only the deepest dives and hottest takes from students and young adults all across the UK.

Reelhouse started at Royal Holloway university, and quickly became the most popular and submitted-to outlet on campus. The founders saw the demand for an independent, young-person-oriented entertainment magazine, and decided to expand outside of Egham to accept pitches from students all across the UK. We now have a readership in the thousands, and have grown our network considerably. Our aim is to be a place for amateur film critics and up-and-coming filmmakers to find each other, see their work in print, and read about everything film and TV. We’ve also feature interviews from interesting people in the industry. Examples include the Oscar-nominated costume designer for Nosferatu, and the baseball consultant for *that* famous Twilight scene.

Our print magazine runs once every uni term (thrice a year), and our website (Reelhouse.co.uk) is open for pitches all year round. If you’ve ever ranted about a film to a friend, ever written a Letterboxd review that got more than 3 likes, ever made or thought about making a film - Reelhouse is for you.
