Redivider will happily consider genre fiction with strong enough prose, though hard science fiction, high fantasy, etc. will probably fit better at another journal.

Nonfiction - 8000 words max

Criticism and commentary, journalism, craft essays (writing on writing), and research. A single piece of 8,000 words or less. Nonfiction personal essay or memoir. A single piece of 6,000 words or less.

Poetry

Max lines: 60

Max pieces: 5

5 poems max, preferably 10–60 lines per poem. We want poems that shift understanding, that reveal core, unexpected truths.

Hybrid

15 pages or less. Graphic narrative and illustrated poetry includes comics and other drawn media with a “literary” focus—that is, targeted toward adult readers where drawn panels or illustrations enhance, reveal, or challenge the accompanying text.
